Telus International closes US$250M Xavient acquisition

Company rebranded as Xavient Digital – powered by Telus International LAS VEGAS and SIMI VALLEY, CA – Telus International has wrapped up its acquisition Xavient Information Systems and has rebranded the global IT consulting and software services company as Xavient Digital – powered by Telus International. Telus PureFibre network on track to reach 99% of Eastern Quebec by 2021

GASPÉ, QC – Telus has pledged to forge ahead with its fibre optic deployment in Eastern Quebec after receiving financial support from both the federal and provincial governments. Telus urges support of 3.5 GHz spectrum in pursuit of 5G

EDMONTON – Telus hit wireless speeds faster than 2 Gbps during recent tests in Edmonton, the company announced Friday. Telus posts “solid” Q3 as profits rise 4.2%

VANCOUVER – A surge in new wireless, internet and TV customers at Telus helped to drive up third quarter profits by 4.2%, the company said Thursday. For the period ended September 30, 2017, consolidated operating revenue rose 4.0% to $3.4 billion from the same quarter a year ago, reflecting an increase in revenue from its growth services, including wireless and wireline data revenues.   Earnings before interest, income taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 5.9% to $1.2 billion, while adjusted EBITDA was up 4.4% due to higher revenue growth and cost savings from ongoing operational efficiency and effectiveness initiatives.
