TORONTO – CTAM Canada is moving its Broadcaster Forum to a larger venue to accommodate larger than expected registration demands by members.

GATINEAU – Corus Entertainment will face the CRTC today in the last stage of its quest to purchase a number of media assets being sold by Bell Media.

OTTAWA – The CRTC has turned down a request from Rogers Communications to shift its licenses for its cable business, on-demand business and Sportsnet service to Mountain Cablevision as part of a corporate reorganization.
Rogers acquired Hamilton Ontario-based Mountain Cablevision from Shaw earlier this year. TORONTO – Al Jazeera English launched on SaskTel this week, making it available to over 97,000 SaskTel maxTV subscribers through channel 58.
