OTTAWA – Use it or lose it. That was the gist of Industry Minister James Moore’s message to Canadian spectrum holders on Thursday.

OTTAWA – In the third quarter of 2013, Canada’s publicly traded television service providers combined to add subscription TV customers, thanks to the record growth of IPTV, reversing a trend of cumulative losses in each of the previous three quarters.

MONTREAL – Cogeco Cable said Tuesday that Fabio Banducci has resigned from his duties as co-CEO of its wholly-owned subsidiary Peer1 Hosting to refocus on other opportunities.

MONTREAL – Cogeco rolled out its residential phone service in the communities of Fergus and Elora in Ontario this week.
The company said that customers may select one of three packages starting at $13.99 per month, keep their current phone number, and have the option of adding features such as long distance packages and voice mail.
