EXTON, PA – Mark Dzuban, president and CEO of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), has been selected to receive the cable telecommunications industry’s highest honor, the Vanguard Award.
Dzuban, a veteran of more than four decades in cable engineering, technology, and management, will receive the 2011 Vanguard Award for Associates and Affiliates from the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) during The Cable Show, which is set for June 14–16 in Chicago. He will be one of nine recipients of the Vanguard, which recognizes those individuals who have contributed significantly to the growth of the industry.
“Throughout his career, and most recently with SCTE, Mark Dzuban has pioneered new approaches that have benefited the entire industry,” said Bob Foote, chairman of the board of directors of SCTE, in the announcement. “On behalf of everyone involved with SCTE, I congratulate Mark and express gratitude to the Vanguard Committee for recognizing Mark’s accomplishments.”
