EXTON, PA – A soup-to-nuts exploration of wireless technologies will be on the agenda when the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) hosts its first-ever Wireless Symposium on March 26 in Toronto.
The full-day event, scheduled to coincide with the March 27 – 28 SCTE Canadian Summit 2012, will provide engineering and operations professionals with a comprehensive view of the opportunities and challenges of wireless for the cable industry. The symposium will begin with a tutorial on wireless RF theory and system engineering, followed by presentations by subject-matter experts from the cable system operator and vendor communities that will address such issues as WiFi, LTE and cellular backhaul, with a particular focus on the Canadian marketplace.
Both events will be held at the Toronto Congress Centre and discounted rates will apply for attendees who register for both events.
