BRAMPTON, ON – The Ontario chapter of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers is seeking nominations for its board.
SCTE chapters provide local networking, professional development, and SCTE certification opportunities to current and prospective members in more than 70 locations around the world.
The bylaws require six board members, elected for two year terms, with three board members replaced each year in order to provide continuity. Boris Eventov, Rob McCann and Bruce Marshall have reached the end of their two year term. James Myles, Bill McMillan and Daniel Sacolle will remain on the board until the end of 2010.
To be considered for the 2010 board of directors, candidates must send a biography in a word document to info@scte-ontario.com before October 31st for placement in the election ballot. Elections will take place by electronic balloting in November.
