
MISSISSAUGA – As customer consumption patterns continue to grow and change, putting pressure on service providers and their employees, while competition also intensifies, network and in-home technologies – and their troubleshooting techniques used by MSOs are also undergoing rapid change.
With that in mind, the SCTE Ontario is requesting papers which address emerging MSO network/in home technologies, deployment architectures/practices, energy management technologies/initiatives, and advanced network troubleshooting techniques for its SCTE Ontario Fall show at the Mississauga Grand Banquet and Event Centre on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019.
The theme will be “Emerging MSO Technologies for 2020 and Beyond” and the group is seeking papers in: DOCSIS 4.0 (ESD,FDX, etc), IPTV, Comcast Syndication, IoT, smart cities, cloud and managed services, virtual CCAP, DAA and Remote Phy, xPON, Advanced WiFi, Intelligent WiFi management and QOE techniques, 5G Wireless and Beyond, 4kTV/UHD, Advanced Digital Optical Transport Technologies, Energy Management Technologies/Initiatives, Advanced Network Troubleshooting/Management Techniques.
The exact topics to be covered will be dependent on the presentation proposals and submissions the SCTE Ontario chapter receives and all submissions are to be vendor and product agnostic.
