SCTE launches drive for new energy, operations standards

- EXTON, PA - The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) is developing three new standards and recommended practices designed to support business continuity and improve energy management efforts for cable system operators.The projects, which have been issued by the SCTE Standards Program, address energy and operations areas such as business continuity and disaster recovery, DC powering, and carbon data management.
