SCTE calls for workshop ideas, nominations for Cable-Tec Expo

EXTON, PA - The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) is looking for proposals for technical workshops, and for nominations for this year’s SCTE Cable-Tec Expo Awards. The 2009 edition of SCTE Cable-Tec Expo, the organization’s annual flagship event, will take place October 28 – 30 in Denver, CO. The theme of the technical sessions is ‘The Extensible Competitive Fiber Network’, which reflects “the inherent capabilities of the existing network to continue to grow ahead of customer demand”, the press release said.
