EXTON, Pa. – The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) announced today that exhibitor floor space for the upcoming SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2005 is sold out.
The Society’s annual flagship event, SCTE Cable-Tec Expo is set for Tuesday through Friday, June 14-17 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
This sellout – which comes with the start of the show still a month away – is a development that further accentuates SCTE Cable-Tec Expo’s stature as a popular, hands-on industry event, says the group.
Not only is the floor space sold out, but the space is nearly 8,000 square feet greater than what the show had last June in Orlando, Fla. The 128,300 square feet sold this year represents a 6.5 percent gain over last year.
SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2005, is the industry’s premier engineering show and will be home to 375 exhibitors from across the cable telecommunications industry, including 69 exhibitors who will be exhibiting at their first SCTE Cable-Tec Expo.
With an “all-engineering, all-the-time” format, SCTE Cable-Tec Expo is set to deliver “Broadband Progress As Big As Texas” to more than 10, 000 attendees from all walks of the technical side of the industry.
In addition to a busy show floor, SCTE Cable-Tec Expo will provide its attendees with 20 technology-focused workshops, each offered twice to accommodate busy schedules. Categories include:
* Bandwidth management
* Commercial services
* Digital networks
* VOIP and PacketCable
* Wireless technology, and many more.
Mike LaJoie, executive vice president, CTO with Time Warner Cable, is chair of the 2005 Expo program subcommittee, which has arranged the workshop line-up addressing today’s critical technology issues.
The convention delivers a number of outstanding networking opportunities to attendees as well, chief among them being the popular Expo Evening, which this year will take place at San Antonio’s Sunset Station.
