EXTON, PA – The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) has added a new webinar as part of its expanded for its SEMI Forum 2013 in April.
The webinar, entitled “Cable Industry Energy Efficiency Program Funding Opportunities,” will be held at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 21. The Smart Energy Management Initiative (SEMI) webinar will explore the logistics and funding of energy management partnerships between cable system operators and utilities.
Ken Williams, executive vice president of the Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation, will discuss how operators can partner with utilities to identify funding sources for energy efficiency programs and demand planning.
The webinar is free for anyone who has registered for SCTE SEMI Forum as of March 20, as well as for all SCTE members. The cost for all other individuals is $29. Additional information and registration are available here.
SCTE SEMI Forum 2013 will take place at the Hilton Atlanta on Wednesday, April 10, beginning at 8 a.m. The event will include keynote remarks by Kevin Hart, executive vice president and CTO of Cox Communications, a keynote interview with Joel Babbit, CEO and co-founder of the Mother Nature Network, and presentations and panel discussions on such issues as energy evolution, outside plant and fleet and critical facilities.
