Scholarship to honour Juris Silkans in the works

HAMILTON, ON – Friends and colleagues of the late Juris Silkans (pictured) are invited to help create a graduate scholarship in his name at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, where he attended school.The scholarship, to be named The Juris Silkans Graduate Scholarship in Communications and New Media, requires organizers to raise $62,500 in order to endow it in perpetuity.
