OTTAWA – Ross Video announced this week Jared Schatz is its new senior vice-president of vertical markets and solutions.
Schatz has worked with Ross for 15 years in a variety of sales and sales leadership positions and was most recently vice-president of sales for North America. “In that role he helped steer Ross to significant growth in the core North American broadcast market, as well as overseeing the company’s expansion in other sectors, most notably sports, corporate, legislature and worship production,” reads the press release.
“Ross is continuing to invest in different markets which, although similar in terms of the toolset used, are very diverse when we consider their audiences and working practices,” comments Schatz.
“He has a deep understanding of our company culture and commitment to customer service, and these attributes will be incredibly important as we accelerate our growth in new vertical markets. We have always believed that Ross should be a diverse business, and I know Jared will do an excellent job of cementing our reputation as a trusted advisor and partner in these new target markets,” said Jeff Moore, executive vice-president and CMO, in the press release.
