REGINA – SaskTel is continuing to expand its SaskTel Select Wi-Fi network within the province’s largest cities of Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw and Prince Albert, and plans to be in over 200 locations by the end of the year.
SaskTel Select Wi-Fi provides another Internet option for SaskTel customers when in public locations, and does not count towards an individual’s cellular data usage. SaskTel 4G/LTE wireless customers will have unlimited access to the Wi-Fi network at no additional cost.
“Since the introduction of the SaskTel Select Wi-Fi network in June 2014 in Regina’s Victoria Park and Mosaic Stadium, public response has shown Wi-Fi is a service that customers want in order to stay connected wherever they are,” said SaskTel president and CEO Ron Styles, in the news release. “We are always looking for ways to enhance the wireless experience for our customers and expanding the SaskTel Select Wi-Fi network will give our customers both accessibility and added value.”
