
REGINA – SaskTel has officially opened the doors on its new certified Tier III Data Centre in Saskatoon.
The new facility consists of 24,000 square feet of building area including 9,650 square feet of data hall space that is expandable to 30,000 square feet of data hall space. The design and build have been certified by the Uptime Institute as meeting all Tier III requirements such as concurrently maintainable electrical and mechanical components and multiple independent distribution paths.
The company said that the data centre is outfitted with cutting edge technology to deliver services with the security, availability and assurance that business customers today demand from their technology partners.
