SaskTel, Xplornet, partner on high throughput satellite Internet in Saskatchewan
REGINA – SaskTel is launching high throughput satellite (HTS) Internet in Saskatchewan in partnership with rural broadband provider Xplornet. HTS will offer residential and business customers three download speed options - 1.5 Mbps, 3.0 Mbps, or 5.0 Mbps. Equipment will be included with the service and basic installation, though customers must pay a one-time activation fee which will vary depending upon the contract term.
