REGINA – SaskTel has launched a new Integrated Business Communications (IBC) solution that allows its business customers to connect, communicate and collaborate from anywhere, on any device, as though they were in the office.
The service enables small, medium, and large business customers to access and manage their services from a simplified web based portal, increasing collaboration between locations without the complexity and cost of building private networks. The pay as you go pricing model offers the flexibility to scale with changing business demands or the introduction of new technology, without significant investment expense or in-house expertise.
Typical concerns with performance, uptime, disaster recovery and maintenance are also alleviated as the solution is hosted in SaskTel’s stable and secure Data Centre and managed by technical experts.
“With this new hosted service, business owners can avoid the up-front costs for infrastructure, hardware, software, and expert technical resources,” said SaskTel’s chief marketing officer Stacey Sandison, in the news release. “We anticipate our business customers will be very pleased with the enhanced collaboration, productivity, and cost savings the product offers – all with a low initial investment and a predictable ongoing cost structure.”
