SaskTel prepares for 765,000 long distance calls on December 25

REGINA - SaskTel is gearing up for a busy holiday season after projecting that its customers will make nearly 765,000 long distance calls, and send approximately 8 million SMS text messages on December 25. That estimate includes 615,000 wireline calls and 150,000 wireless long distance calls. About 43% of Christmas Day calls are expected to be made to locations in Saskatchewan, while about 52% will be to Canadian destinations outside of the province.
