SaskTel nears completion of wireless broadband Internet expansion plan

REGINA – SaskTel said that it has nearly completed a $4.2 million project to expand its high speed Fusion Internet to 34 additional towers serving rural Saskatchewan.The Crown corporation said that the initiative will be completed in April after it has equipped the towers that serve the vicinities of Shellbrook, Southey, and Stoughton.  Once the project is complete, SaskTel will operate 102 Fusion equipped towers throughout the province, with each tower delivering a reliable high speed Internet connection with download speeds of up to 10 Mbps for rural customers.“Our vision is to be the best at connecting our customers to...
