REGINA – SaskTel launched Speed Restore today, which is a new offer that allows unlimited wireless data subscribers to increase the amount of data they can enjoy at full-speed.
There are two Speed Restore options: 3 GB of data for $5; or 10 GB for $15.
SaskTel customers who subscribe to an eligible unlimited wireless data plan, who see their speeds slow after they hit their plan’s high speed data limit, can add either package to their account at any point during their monthly billing cycle through the mySaskTel website or app.
SaskTel customers currently have three unlimited wireless plans to choose from: Total 5 ($80/month), Total 15 ($100) and Total 30 ($115), with monthly data allotments ranging from 5GB to 30GB.
“Our customers have been able to enjoy the peace of mind that comes with an unlimited wireless data plan for over 10 years and while other wireless providers are just beginning to offer similar plans, we’ve been busy making ours even better,” said Doug Burnett, president and CEO, in the press release. “With the addition of Speed Restore to our comprehensive suite of service add-ons, we’re ensuring that Saskatchewan remains one of, if not the best province in Canada to own a cell phone.”
