SaskTel launches maxTV Stream to 28 more communities

REGINA – Today SaskTel announced residents and businesses in Fond-du-Lac and La Loche, along with 28 other Northern and Indigenous communities, can now purchase its maxTV Stream.

Loaded with over 130 channels and thousands of hours of VOD content, maxTV Stream also enables users to switch between live TV and built-in over-the-top content from Netflix and YouTube. Its app also lets subscribers watch maxTV on their device anywhere in Canada, among other options.

The service is now available nearly 350 communities, says the company.

The 28 communities launched today are Bear Creek, Birch Narrows Dene Nation – Turnor Lake 193B, Black Lake, Brabant Lake, Canoe Narrows, Clearwater River Dene Nation, Creighton, Cumberland House, Cumberland House Cree Nation 20, Denare Beach, Dillon, Dore Lake, English River First Nation – Wapachewunak 192D, Fond-du-Lac, Jans Bay, La Loche, Lac La Ronge Indian Band – Grandmother’s Bay 219, Lac La Ronge Indian Band – Lac La Ronge 156, Lac La Ronge Indian Band – Sucker River 156C, Missinipe, Patuanak, Red Earth Cree Nation, Shoal Lake Cree Nation, and Sled Lake.
