SaskTel launches maxTV Stream in 11 new communities

REGINA – SaskTel is bringing its maxTV Stream IPTV platform to 11 more rural communities.

Pre-loaded with 55 channels, VoD, and built in apps for accessing Netflix, Crave and YouTube, maxTV Stream starts at $19.95/month when bundled with SaskTel’s Internet service.

The service is available now in Allan, Colonsay, Hudson Bay, Leask, Martensville, Meacham, Osler, Shellbrook, Viscount, Warman, and Young.

“With its cutting-edge technology and impressive set of features, maxTV Stream is completely transforming television and entertainment in Saskatchewan,” said acting president and CEO Doug Burnett, in the announcement. “Plus, by leveraging our expansive broadband network, we’ll be able to deliver maxTV Stream to hundreds of communities, making it more widely available than any other wireline television service in Saskatchewan.”

SaskTel added that it plans to expand maxTV Stream to more than 350 communities by 2020.
