SaskTel launches cellular recycling program

REGINA - SaskTel has launched a province-wide cellular recycling program called ‘Phones for a Fresh Start’, which will benefit women’s shelters across the province. The telco will accept donations of any used wireless devices, batteries, chargers and accessories at its retail locations and participating authorized dealers. All donated items will be shipped to a wireless recycling company which will pay SaskTel for each device, and the money will be used to purchase prepaid wireless phone cards.
