SaskTel extends Internet service, upgrades cell coverage

REGINA – SaskTel has rolled out high speed Internet in the predominantly rural community of Ogema, located approximately 125 kilometres south of Regina.“SaskTel is proud to offer high speed Internet service to approximately 350 locations across the province,” said president and CEO Robert Watson, in the announcement. “Approximately 99 percent of the Saskatchewan population now has access to SaskTel high speed internet service.”In other company news, SaskTel announced digital cellular coverage improvements in the Carmichael area, particularly along Highway 37 between Gull Lake and Shaunavon.
