REGINA – SaskTel has rolled out high speed Internet service to three more rural communities in the province.

Craven now has access to the company’s High Speed Basic Internet, with download speeds of up to 5 Mbps, while customers in Alvena and Riverhurst may select either Basic or High Speed Advanced Internet, which offers download speeds of up to 10 Mbps.

SaskTel’s High Speed Internet includes unlimited usage, free installation, spam and email virus filtering, and 24/7 helpdesk support.

“SaskTel recognizes that rural Saskatchewan needs access to quality High Speed Internet service,” said president and CEO Ron Styles, in the news release.  “By providing these communities with this service, we are opening doors for entrepreneurs that want to live outside of our major centers but still need access to how business is done in the world today.”
