SaskTel extends data overage offer

REGINA –SaskTel announced today it has extended the waiving of data overage charges (wired and wireless) until April 30th, so there will be no data overage charges (domestic data) for business or consumer customers, on SaskTel’s postpaid wireless plans, noStrings prepaid wireless plans or SaskTel fusion Internet plans until the end of next month.

“As the Covid-19 outbreak continues, we are listening to our customer’s needs for additional data as more and more people self-isolate and work from home,” said Doug Burnett, president and CEO. “As this situation evolves, SaskTel employees are working hard to maintain our world-class networks to ensure customers have the essential services they require to stay connected to their work, family and friends.”

SaskTel also said it will continue to provide free content to its residential maxTV and maxTV Stream customers, with current access to over 50 channels on free preview, including CTV News Channel, CBC News Network, LCN, Family, Family Jr., Family CHRGD, Disney Channel, Teletoon, Treehouse, and others.
