SaskTel extending wildfire support for customers until June 30

SaskTel announced Monday it will extend until the end of June the supports it is offering to all customers living in northern Saskatchewan communities evacuated due to the wildfires in the province. “The Government of Saskatchewan is increasing the timeframe that SaskTel’s supports will be available to those evacuated from their homes due to the wildfires in northern Saskatchewan,” said Jeremy Harrison, minister responsible for Crown corporation SaskTel, in a press release. “This measure, combined with the supplementary financial assistance announced by our government recently, will provide support to families during these evacuations and upon their return home.” Announced earlier this month,...
