REGINA – SaskTel announced today that it has expanded its 5G network to a number of rural communities. The expansion for this month include Lumsden, Bethune, Denholm, Glaslyn, Highway 80 and 22, Hodgeville, Kipabiskau Regional Park, Leader, Montmartre, and Warmley. The network, which uses Samsung technology, can reach speeds of up to 1.2 Gigabits per second download. It is part of the crown corporation’s more than $1.5-billion investment in the province over five years.
