
REGINA – SaskTel has turned up Internet speeds in two more communities.
The company said Wednesday that Internet service in the White Bear resort community and the White Bear IR has been upgraded to 5 Mbps download speeds from 1.5 Mbps.
“We are pleased to bring faster internet to the residents of the White Bear resort and White Bear IR,” said president and CEO Ron Styles, in the news release. “SaskTel takes great pride in being a communications leader in the province and we understand how important access to fast and reliable Internet services are for the social and economic development of residents all across our province.”
In addition, residents living in the resort communities of Crystal Lake and York Lake may now sign up for the company’s High Speed Advanced Internet, which offers download speeds of up to 10 Mbps.
