REGINA – Residents of Air Ronge and La Ronge are the latest rural subscribers now able to access high speed interNET Extended 10 from SaskTel.
High Speed interNET Extended 10 offers download speeds of up to 10 Mbps, which is twice as fast as the current Internet service available in both communities, plus includes unlimited usage, free installation, in-home Wi-Fi, spam and email virus filtering.
“We are pleased to bring faster internet to the residents of Air Ronge and La Ronge,” said acting SaskTel president and CEO Doug Burnett, in the news release. “SaskTel takes great pride in being the communications leader in the province and we understand how important access to fast and reliable communications services is for the social and economic development of residents all throughout Saskatchewan.”
This upgrade is part of SaskTel’s commitment to invest over $300 million in capital in Saskatchewan in 2017/18 and $1.4 billion through 2016-2021.
