SaskTel connects more First Nations communities with high speed Internet, 4G

REGINA – SaskTel is making progress on its plan to provide high speed Internet service and 4G coverage to 28 First Nations communities in Saskatchewan over the next two years. Residents of Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Ocean Man First Nation, Red Pheasant First Nation and Yellow Quill First Nation now have high speed Internet service, while SaskTel’s 4G wireless service is now available to Ahtahkakoop First Nation, Big River First Nation and Fishing Lake First Nation. “This innovative partnership will provide these 28 First Nations communities with access to Saskatchewan’s most extensive communications network,” said SaskTel president and CEO...
