REGINA – SaskTel and the Communications, Energy and Paperworker’s Union of Canada (CEP) reached a tentative agreement on Thursday.
The current collective agreement between the two expired March 20, 2010. The new agreement, which remains subject to SaskTel and CEP approval processes, will be for a three-year term through March 16, 2013.
“I am pleased that the SaskTel and CEP Bargaining Committees have reached this tentative agreement,” said SaskTel president and CEO, Ron Styles, in a statement. “These committee members have worked very hard to get to this point, and I commend the professionalism and diligent efforts of all those involved – management and union members.”
