SaskTel, CEP reach tentative contract agreement for 3,000 employees

REGINA – SaskTel reached a tentative collective agreement Wednesday with the Communications Energy & Paperworker’s Union of Canada (CEP) bargaining committee. The agreement is subject to ratification by the CEP membership. The current collective agreement expired March 16, 2013. The new agreement will be for a three-year term ending March 12, 2016. The offer is subject to SaskTel and CEP approval processes and details of the agreement will not be released until it is ratified. CEP represents more than 3,000 SakTel employees who work in customer service, installations, repairs, sales and administrative functions. The union represents 9,000 workers in Saskatchewan...
