SaskTel brings faster Internet to three Northern communities

REGINA - SaskTel has rolled out its high speed Internet service to residents of Creighton, Denare Beach, and Sturgeon Landing, boosting download speeds from 1.5 Mbps to 5 Mbps.The Crown Corp said that the upgrades are part of its commitment to invest over $300 million in capital in Saskatchewan in 2016/17 and $1.4 billion through 2016-2021.“This upgrade is a direct result of two key investments that we made in our infrastructure to improve services in Northeastern Saskatchewan,” said president and CEO Ron Styles, in the news release. “The first investment was a three year $30 million project, in partnership with...
