
REGINA — SaskTel announced today residents in four more communities in rural Saskatchewan now have access to faster Internet speeds and the next-generation in television and entertainment with the launch of interNET Extended 25 and 50 and maxTV Stream services in the towns.
The four rural communities which now have access to these services are Burstall, Fox Valley, Richmound and Tuxford. This also marks the launch of SaskTel DSL Internet service in the village of Tuxford, says SaskTel’s press release.
Delivering download speeds up to 25 Mbps and 50 Mbps, respectively, interNET Extended 25 and interNET Extended 50 are the fastest rural Internet packages SaskTel has ever offered. With this latest expansion, SaskTel now offers Internet packages with download speeds of up to 50 Mbps or faster in more than 340 communities across Saskatchewan.
Available in more than 380 communities across the province, maxTV Stream combines traditional television with advanced technology and the latest OTT content from Netflix and YouTube. Among the advanced features offered with maxTV Stream are the abilities to restart live TV up to 72 hours in the past and to control the TV with Bluetooth and voice command technology.
