REGINA – SaskTel will add Sun News to its Max Entertainment Services beginning in November.
The telco said that Sun News is tentatively scheduled to be available November 15 within its ‘Knowledge Plus’ theme package, though will make the channel available on free preview to all Max customers until January 31, 2012.
“Sun News provides a unique perspective on news and current affairs,” said SaskTel president and CEO Ron Styles, in the announcement. “We’re pleased to add a new voice to our large and diverse SaskTel Max channel lineup.”
“The addition of SaskTel to the growing list of cable and satellite providers who offer Sun News should be a relief to those who are tired of the status-quo news options,” said Luc Lavoie, head of development for Sun News. “Sun News is a voice for the west and we’re looking forward to having stories that are relevant to the people of Saskatchewan continue to play a major role in our daily coverage.”
