Saskatchewan adopts cell recycling program

REGINA – Add Saskatchewan to the list of provinces participating in the industry-led recycling program for old cellphones.The free program, initiated by the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association, helps consumers find out where and how to properly dispose of their cell phones and other wireless devices – regardless of carrier, brand or condition.The province will have 95 locations in 28 communities where cellphones and wireless devices (batteries and chargers) can be dropped off for recycling for free.
