CALGARY and TORONTO — Shaw Communications’ senior vice-president of digital, product and service delivery, Sarah Miller Wright, is leaving the company to join Manulife Canada as its head of operations.
Miller Wright’s previous leadership roles at Shaw included being senior vice-president of customer care. At Shaw, she led several transformation initiatives, driving greater digital adoption to ultimately enhance the overall customer experience, says the Manulife news release announcing her arrival. Miller Wright also spearheaded Shaw’s shift to an agile way of working, building more effective systems and processes and finding new ways to collaborate across teams, says the release.
She was also responsible for co-founding an employee resource group at Shaw that supports women with mentorship, development and networking opportunities, too.
Prior to joining Shaw Communications in 2013, Miller Wright held leadership roles in client services and customer care at Virgin Mobile Canada and Bell Mobility.
In her new role as head of operations for Manulife Canada, she will sit on both the global operations and Canada leadership teams. Her responsibilities will include reimagining how Manulife Canada interacts with customers across all its channels and building foundational capabilities to drive effectiveness and improve the customer experience, says the release.
