Sandvine posts 392% leap in Q2 profits

WATERLOO, ON – Second quarter profits at Sandvine jumped 392% year-over-year, from $0.9 million last year to $4.4 million for the period ended May 31, 2014.Non-IFRS income of $4.8 million was up 246% from $1.4 million year-over-year, and revenue climbed 26% to $29.7 million, up from $23.5 million at this time last year.Broken down by market, wireless sales accounted for 39% of Sandvine’s Q2 revenue, with DSL at 33%, and cable at 28%.
