MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Samsung Electronics Canada today introduced the Galaxy Z Flip 5G foldable smartphone, available in Canada starting August 7.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be available in mystic bronze (pictured) and mystic grey colours across major Canadian carriers and retail partners, as well as at Samsung Experience stores or through samsung.ca, for $2,020.
“At Samsung, we are committed to putting the power of 5G in the hands of Canadian consumers,” said Jennifer Safruk, vice-president of mobile business at Samsung Electronics Canada, in the news release. “We are excited to bring next-generation speed and connectivity to the bold and stylish Galaxy Z Flip, expanding our portfolio of 5G devices and empowering consumers to stay connected.”
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is the first device in the Samsung Galaxy lineup to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ 5G mobile platform, which maximizes the power of 5G to deliver faster and more efficient on-device processing with sharper imagery through improved graphics rendering, says the release.
To provide ultimate portability in a 5G phone, Samsung added the components necessary to bring 5G connectivity to life while maintaining the sleek form factor of the original Galaxy Z Flip palm-sized foldable device (first launched in February 2020).
