Samsung Canada to create second Tech Institute for future repair techs

VANCOUVER – Samsung Electronics Canada is taking its Tech Institute west to Vancouver Community College (VCC).Following the opening of the Samsung Tech Institute at Toronto's Centennial College in 2015, the partnership between Samsung and VCC will provide students with practical hands-on training on how to operate, diagnose and service select Samsung digital home appliances including refrigerators, gas and electric stovetops, microwaves and washer-dryers.Samsung has also established three $1,000 entrance scholarships for students who demonstrate a commitment to innovation, dedication and hard work."It's an exciting time for Samsung, VCC and students as we launch the next Samsung Tech Institute," said Samsung Canada...
