S-Vox cuts senior staff at Joytv

SURREY, BC – Multi-faith broadcaster S-Vox has eliminated two senior positions from its conventional over-the-air station Joytv 10 to help ensure its “financial sustainability”.The general manager and general sales manager positions have been dropped, and remaining staff have been instructed to report directly to senior personnel at S-Vox in Toronto.S-Vox acquired and re-launched two former OMNI stations in Western Canada under the Joytv brand name in 2008. Joytv 10 serves the Vancouver, Victoria and Fraser Valley regions of BC, while Joytv 11 serves viewers in the Winnipeg area.www.joytv.ca
