LOS ANGELES — Comedy star Russell Peters is headlining a New Year’s Eve global pay-per-view event called Russell Peters & Friends, which will be available for 48 hours of unlimited viewing via OnLocationLive.com.
The new, limited-release special features Peters along with Jason Collings (The Tonight Show), Crystal Marie Denha (MTV’s Punk’d), emerging talent Jeff Joe, and Jimmy Shubert (iTunes #1 comedy album) in an intimate club setting.
“I just wanted to do something fun to end off such a sh*tty year so I got a few of my very funny friends together for this show,” says Peters about his upcoming special, in a press release (yes, the asterisk was in the release).
Russell Peters & Friends will be available for viewing globally beginning at 12:01 a.m. local time on December 31st until end of day January 1st. Advance tickets are US$14.99 (CAD$21) for a limited time, and are available now via OnLocationLive.com/RussellPeters. (As of 12 p.m. ET on December 29, ticket prices increase.)
