MONTREAL – Headset provider Sennheiser has signed an agreement with telecommunications distributor Run Distribution to serve the Quebec region, the companies announced this week.

Sennheiser said that the partnership is due in part to Run’s relationship with Yealink, a provider of VoIP and SIP-based phones.  Sennheiser’s line of contact centre and office headsets – which include the new D 10 Series (pictured), the SD wireless, Century, Circle, Culture, MB and Presence, integrate with the Yealink handsets to create a seamless high-performance telephony solution for quality unified communications environments.

“Durability and audio quality are an integral part of a sophisticated VoIP system.  Run Distribution’s extensive network of reseller partners will help Sennheiser deliver outstanding durability and voice clarity throughout this region”, said Sennheiser Canada’s national sales manager for telecommunications, Michael Wyman, in the news release.  “Their customer base is also positioned to help Sennheiser advance the standards of audio quality in business communities throughout Quebec.”

“We’re excited to be working with Sennheiser as audio quality becomes increasingly important in busy office environments,” added Run Distribution’s VP of sales Ryan Mayoff.  “The company’s portfolio of wired, wireless, DECT and Bluetooth headsets raise the bar in the unified communications marketplace. Together we’ll present the Quebec marketplace with UC headsets whose level of reliability will become a mainstay in a state-of-the-art contact center.”
