
TORONTO – RTDNA Canada has released the regional finalists for its annual awards honouring the best journalists, programs, stations and newsgathering organizations in radio, television and digital.
“It has been another tumultuous year for journalism in this country but Canadian journalists have stood up to every challenge with passion, integrity and fortitude,” said RTDNA Canada president Ian Koenigsfest, in the news release. “These prestigious RTDNA awards not only recognize excellence in journalism, they also reflect a healthy, vibrant and increasingly curious profession determined to remain committed to seeking out facts, balance and objectivity."
Central Region winners will be announced at the regional awards ceremony on April 14 in Toronto. The list of finalists is available here.
The finalists for the East Region, Prairies Region and West Region will be unveiled at regional awards ceremonies scheduled for April 21 in Dartmouth, Regina and Vancouver, respectively.
