
OTTAWA – Ross Video has opened ‘Studios of the Future’ in Ottawa, Pinewood Studios in London and
Infinite Studios in Singapore that all include augmented reality and virtual set implementations.
The company said Wednesday that the primary role of the Ottawa studio will be as a customer demonstration site for its range of products, but it will also serve as a research and development / test studio for engineering, and as a corporate video production facility.
The Ross Video studio in London will serve primarily as a customer demonstration facility, and Infinite Stdios in Singapore is a full production studio for multiple customers in the region as well as a customer demonstration facility.
“Our goal at Ross Video is to be the leader in Virtual Solutions for all live production,” said CEO David Ross, in the news release. “We believe that it is critical for Ross Video to be able to offer our customers locations to see how we can deliver everything required to meet future studio requirements."
The company will also be demonstrating the Ross ‘Studio of the Future’ concept featuring Ross Virtual Solutions for news, weather, and sports broadcasting at NAB 2015.
