TORONTO – Rogers’ Joel Woods will be off to Harvard in June as this year’s recipient of the CTAM Canada Fellowship Award, also known as CTAM U.
Woods is senior product manager – cable platform within the video product management group at Rogers where he is responsible for overseeing the launch and maintenance of all linear video channels (analog, SD, HD) and all linear channel line-ups; network/spectrum capacity and planning; and network provisioning/integrity. He has also been a member of CTAM Canada for 8 years and has participated in a number of events and committees.
Now in its 15th year, the executive management program is a week-long intensive learning series held at the Harvard Business School (HBS). The program focuses on strategic marketing and business principles through a detailed case study curriculum administered by HBS professors and key industry leaders.
Having become a corporate patron of the executive management program at the Harvard Business School in 2006, CTAM Canada has committed to sponsor a chapter member to attend the program annually. Participants of the program are chosen through an application process and selected by a special committee made up of CTAM Canada executives. The program takes place in Boston from June 10 – 15, 2012, and will include 75 senior executives within the North American industry.
Applications for the 2013 CTAM-U Fellowship from CTAM Canada will be available in early 2013.
