Rogers waiving long-distance, SMS charges to Ukraine

TORONTO – Rogers Communications announced today it is waiving long-distance and SMS charges to Ukraine effective immediately, until March 31, 2022 for Rogers, Fido and chatr customers. With the intention of helping “Canadians stay connected to loved ones,” the company is also temporarily waiving roaming charges for its customers currently in Ukraine, its website says.
