Rogers translates leaders debate into Mandarin

TORONTO – Since an ever-increasing number of Canadians speak neither English nor French, Rogers Television will present the 2006 Federal Leaders Debate translated into Mandarin on Saturday, January 21 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Toronto, York Region and Mississauga and at 6 p.m. in Ajax and Pickering. This exclusive show offers the Greater Toronto Area’s Chinese community the opportunity to hear from Paul Martin, Stephen Harper, Jack Layton and Gilles Duceppe.
