TORONTO – Rogers Communications Inc. said Wednesday it has agreed to purchase for cancellation a million of its outstanding Class B non-voting shares for $39.86 million. The number represents about 0.002% of the total Class B shares outstanding at April 30, 2008. The sale is pursuant to a private agreement between Rogers and an arm’s-length third party seller.
